“Non contrarii, ma diversi”: the question of minority in the eyes of Christians and Jews in Italy (early 15th-mid 18th century)
We call for papers for a workshop to be held in Paris, in Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and École des hautes études en sciences sociales, on November 21-22, 2016. The title of the workshop is:
“Non contrarii, ma diversi”: the question of minority in the eyes of Christians and Jews in Italy (early 15th-mid 18th century)

The deadline for submitting proposals is 15 April 2016. Proposals not longer than 500 words should be sent to savy_pierre@yahoo.fr and alessandro.guetta@inalco.fr.
The three workshop organizers are Sylvie Anne Goldberg (Études juives-Centre de recherches historiques, École des hautes études en sciences sociales), Alessandro Guetta (Centre de recherches Moyen-Orient Méditerranée, Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales) and Pierre Savy (Analyse comparée des pouvoirs, Université Paris-Est – Marne-la-Vallée).
We support the costs of airfare and lodging for two nights in Paris.
