Degree and diploma programs
Doctoral DegreesAt Inalco, the World Languages, Literature and Societies Doctoral School (No. 265), brings together 15 research units, eight Inalco-specific research teams, and seven joint research units (UMR). The Doctoral School trains some 300 doctoral students across these units, supervised by over 100 professors.
Our introductory diplomas, language and culture diplomas, and other Inalco diplomas are recognized and accredited.
Langues O' Passeport
There is no auditor status at Inalco, but with the Langues O’ Passport, you can choose from Inalco’s course offerings in language or cultural studies to make a tailor-made program worth up to 24 ECTS credits per year.
Inalco is involved in several major e-learning projects concerning Inuktitut and Swahili. Other languages, such as Estonian, are to follow soon.
Language coursesYou can choose to take evening classes from beginner to advanced level, earn a certificate in Arabic, Chinese, or Japanese in two years, perfect your oral skills, or do an intensive course.
