Doctoral student welcome day

This day, entirely dedicated to the 53 first-time doctoral students, enabled Frosa Pejoska-Bouchereau, Director of the Doctoral School - in the presence of Peter Stockinger, Vice-President of the Scientific Council and Sobhi Boustani, Scientific Integrity Referent - to present:

• The operation and missions of the ED,
• Research and doctoral studies at Inalco,
• Doctoral supervision and its scientific environment,
• Support for doctoral students,
• The operation of the Comité de Suivi Individuel de thèse,
• Funding arrangements for mobility, scientific events, symposium participation, etc.,
• The valorization of doctoral students' research work,
• Doctoral certification and the integration of skills blocks in the development of the training plan,
• The various training courses offered to young researchers (ED, Research Units, Bulac, Université de Paris, etc.),
• The setting up of the Café-doctorants.

This meeting was attended by PhD students from different graduating classes, as well as thesis directors, who were invited to get to know each other and share their experiences with first-time PhD students. Meetings and exchanges continued over a convivial meal.
