Every year, Inal'FLE, Inalco's French as a Foreign Language section, trains non-French speakers wishing to improve their language skills to pursue university studies or find work.

Inalco offers a range of French as a Foreign Language courses, from level A1 to C1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR) to all of the school's international students. How to register

For 2023/2024, as courses are fully booked, applications are closed to external candidates. The application form for the year 2024/2025 will be posted on this page at a later date.

Tuition fees per semester

One registration entitles the holder to a maximum of 4 courses, crediting up to 30 ECTS per semester.

750€ / semester:

Students enrolled in degree courses at Inalco
External public (students not enrolled at Inalco)

Exempt from tuition fees:

Inalco university exchange students
Inalco DU Passerelle students
Exile students: refugees, stateless persons or beneficiaries of subsidiary/temporary protection
Teachers and staff (tenured or contractual) at Inalco
