For the third year running, the Louvre is teaming up with Inalco! Inalco's application having been selected, L3 students in the CFI (Communication et Formations Interculturelles) stream are presenting a mediation on the evening of April 26, 2024, as part of the "Campus Louvre, la nocturne" program. This partnership, which is part of the artistic and cultural education pathway (PEAC) set up in 2015 by the government with the aim of "fostering equal access for all young people to art and culture", is a unique opportunity to promote our students and our establishment, which takes a singular look at culture and the world.

This partnership also enables Inalco students to learn a number of skills in the field of communications, thanks to the promotion of the event carried out by the students. What's more, in the run-up to the evening, the students took part in a cultural mediation training course that prepared them for their future presentations.

The main theme of this mediation is "Traces of Time". Astrolabes, watches and hourglasses, visitors will plunge into the history of time measurement, through the ages and cultural areas of the world.

During this privileged moment, they will also have the opportunity to listen not to art history specialists, but to students learning different Eastern languages and cultures at lnalco, who will bring to light new facets perhaps still unknown to the treasures possessed by the Louvre. They will enthusiastically share their knowledge and answer all questions.
