Research

Connecting laboratories

The candidate is a specialist in Hungarian literature. His/her work focuses more particularly on the period covering the second half of the XIXe century and the first XXe century in a Central European context.

The candidate is expected to take responsibility for a research project in the more specifically literary axis of the CREE project for the period 2025-2029 (current axis 6: Penser les littératures et les traductions). He/she will therefore be required to develop a convincing project that combines properly literary and cultural dimensions in forms that he/she will be responsible for proposing.

The candidate is expected to demonstrate national and international visibility - particularly in the Central European space - in his/her field of research.

In addition to a perfect command of the Hungarian language, he/she is expected to have a sufficient command (minimum level C1) of at least one language of the area he/she covers (including the Hungarian political and cultural area in its pre-1920 format). German would be an asset.

The candidate is expected to integrate and be active in the development of the team's doctoral literature seminar. He/she will be expected to make him/herself available as much as necessary for the UR's research valorization activities.
