Nao Sawada, Professor at Rikkyo University (Tokyo) and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, will examine the changes that NHK's historical series taiga dorama have undergone since their inception in 1963, in the direction of greater freedom from historical truth.
