Lætitia Bucaille awarded the Ordre National du Mérite

The blue ribbon was presented to her by Ghassan Salamé, professor at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris, diplomat and eminent man of culture and peace who was her teacher.

Professor of political sociology at Inalco, Lætitia Bucaille is a member of the Centre d'études en sciences sociales des mondes africains, américains et asiatiques (CESSMA - UMR 245) and a member of the Institut universitaire de France. She has worked mainly on the Palestinian territories, Algeria and South Africa, and is interested in conflict as well as post-conflict, peacebuilding and transitional justice.
