What is mentoring?

The purpose of the Inalco Alumni network's mentoring program is to put an Inalco master's student or recent graduate in touch with an alumnus or alumna to help them develop their professional or entrepreneurial project.

If you would like to be a mentee this year, please fill in the registration form.
This will enable us to "match" complementary profiles and set up relevant pairs to help you achieve your goals. You'll benefit from a 2-hour introductory mentoring session before the start, a meeting to exchange ideas between mentor and mentee, and follow-up throughout the program.

Would you like to join the program as a mentor? More information here.

Testimonials

I had a great mentor! Our relationship was built over the year and our needs. We saw each other three times and today we still write to each other to give each other updates on our respective careers and progress. She helped me to redo my CV, to apply for offers I would never have considered, and above all to broaden my field of possibilities.

All my approach as a mentor was a maieutic one, i.e. getting my mentee to "give birth" to her primary motivations. One of the difficulties when you're a student is knowing your professional positioning as a future service provider. It was on this aspect of motivations that I got her to think, so that we could detect which professions might appeal to her and consequently, also, in which professions she could be at her best, best matching her personal and professional aspirations.
