Hello everyone,

Welcome to Inalco's Japanese Studies Department!

As some of you may know, there's a pre-school course aimed at complete beginners in the Japanese language. The aim of this course (which is of course free of charge) is to master hiragana and katakana before the start of the new school year. The course will take place from September 12 to 15, 2023.

In order to prepare for the start of the new academic year, please consult the website below as soon as possible! You'll find the dates and times of the course, as well as teaching resources. The videos developed for the course will be available until July 21, and then again from August 22.

It is particularly important to master at least the reading of all kana (hiragana and katakana) before the course.
