Contenu central

Francesco Chiabotti visited Morocco between March 12 and 20, 2023. This fieldwork was part of his CNRS delegation project currently underway at IREMAM. The mission had the following objectives:

  • Obtaining manuscript documentation in Rabat and Marrakech
  • Launching an international project with the aim of publishing the works of the author studied as part of the delegation project. The ambition is to bring together a number of Moroccan researchers under its scientific direction, establish a contract with a publishing house that, ideally in partnership with INALCO presses, will publish the manuscripts edited by the research group in book format (Arab world distribution) and digital format (Inalco press, print on demand).
  • A separate objective is to establish contact with the Ministry of Habous and Religious Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Toufik, with whom we have already collaborated in the past (ANR_DFG PROPHET project, 2019 colloquium).
