CERMOM is pleased to welcome Dr. Nassima Neggaz, Ph.D., winner of the Fellowship of the Institut d'Etudes Avancées de Paris (2021-2022), for a project on the fall of Baghdad in 1258 and its contemporary memory, particularly after 2003.

Dr. Nassima Neggaz's project is entitled "Sunni and Shi'i Memories: Remembering 1258 after 2003." Dr. Neggaz will work on medieval Baghdad in collaboration with CERMOM.
