Registration for the JLPT Japanese Language Proficiency Test

Step 1: online pre-registration
(to take the test in PARIS) ► For the year 2024

You must pre-register by clicking on the button above to access the AEC registration platform and creating your account.

You must carefully read the 2024 test guide - French version downloadable below to properly complete the registration form provided online on the first day of registration.

After completing your pre-registration, you will obligatorily receive an email confirming the registration of your online registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email on the same day as your pre-registration, please contact us by email: testjaponais@inalco.fr

Please note, your registration will only be validated upon receipt of the complete file.

Step 2: file creation

Applicants must provide:

• A printout of the e-mail sent automatically by the platform with the subject "Your order". It includes your surname, first name, test level and payment reference.
• A C4 envelope (corresponds to A4 32 x 23 cm) already stamped at €2.50, ready to send, made out to the candidate's name and address to receive the results. For candidates living abroad, please check with your local post office and use international stamps from France to the country of dispatch.

Incomplete and/or late applications systematically cancel registration. No refunds are possible after online payment.

Step 3: sending the application

The application must reach Inalco reception or our office by March 30, 2024 at the latest.

For requests for special testing accommodations, the deadline for submitting the file is before Friday March 22, 2024 at 5pm. Documents for the July session will be posted on this page on the first day of registration, so we strongly advise you to gather medical documents in advance.

After reading the "Request for Special Testing Accommodations" document below, print out the "Request Form" and the "Consent Form". Fill them in carefully (the candidate number at the top of the "Request Form" will be filled in by the coordinator). Attach them to your registration form, together with a medical certificate TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH specifying your exact needs before the date indicated above.
