Validation of acquired experience (VAE)

VAE gives you university-level recognition of the knowledge, qualifications, skills and experience you have acquired in the course of your personal and professional career, through the validation of a national diploma. VAE is a real opportunity to gain access to a higher education diploma or qualification.

Any person, regardless of age, nationality, status or level of training, who can provide proof of at least 1 year's experience directly related to the targeted certification, can apply for VAE.

Conditions to be met

If the candidate does not have the Baccalauréat, they must be at least 20 years old and have been out of the initial training system for at least 2 years.

If the candidate is aiming for a diploma for which he/she has already been unsuccessful in initial training, he/she must have interrupted his/her studies for at least 3 years.

To be eligible for a Validation des Acquis, one year's professional experience related to the training envisaged is mandatory.
