In partnership with the Festival Vo-Vf, Inalco awards the Prix de la traduction-Inalco endowed with 1,000 euros and intended to reward a translation made into French from one of the 103 languages taught at the Institute, published by a publisher and distributed in France.

Eligible for this prize are novels and collections of short stories published in the two years preceding the award: 20 and 2021 for the 2022 edition.

Books translated by (currently enrolled) teachers or students at Inalco may not be entered. Relay translations and retranslations are not accepted, nor are collective translations. A maximum of two works per publishing house may be entered.

The Prix de la traduction-Inalco will be awarded on October 2, 2022, on the occasion of the 10th edition of the Festival Vo-Vf.

Translators should not send their works directly, but should contact their publishing house for possible entries.

Books should be sent in three hard copies and, due to the health situation, one digital copy before March 7, 2022 to the following address:

Prix de la traduction-Inalco
65, rue des Grands Moulins
