Since the start of the 2022 academic year, the Continuing Education department has been offering short, thematic training courses, led by expert speakers and focusing on socio-economic and geopolitical topics, security and defense issues, or multicultural team management. These courses are aimed at executives from the private, public or associative sectors, project managers, diplomats, military personnel and anyone wishing to develop their intercultural knowledge and skills by working on practical cases.

The next thematic training course will present Vietnam's "business environment" and "cultural environment", on June 3 and 10, 2023.

Contenu central

Embarking on a personal or professional adventure in a geographically and culturally distant environment requires preparation and support. It's not so much a question of understanding everything as of trying to grasp the new world we're now confronted with. This understanding is all the more important as we may have become accustomed to a somewhat idealized approach based on the notion of a "shared past" that we French have with Vietnam and its people, and which no longer necessarily corresponds to the underlying relationships we may develop in our personal and professional activities in this country.

This training course is aimed at executives from the private or public sectors, project managers, executives from the associative sector and any public with an interest in Vietnam.

Training objectives

  • To introduce people to Vietnam and the business environment;
  • Enable anyone to develop intercultural knowledge and skills by working on practical cases.

The aim of this short training course is to present Vietnam in broad terms, both in terms of the "business environment" and the "cultural environment", and to provide the elements needed to decipher its environment, particularly in business practice, and thus limit cultural gaps at both personal and professional levels.

Knowing that willingness, learning and curiosity remain the main drivers of a successful "cultural dive".
