Two Golden Lions takes the epigraphy treatise ‘Liang Zhe Jin Shi Zhi’ 兩浙金石志 (The Records Of Epigraphy In Zhejiang) as its guiding thread, and the mountains surrounding the West Lake in Hangzhou as its living stage, to faithfully document a two-year journey, where a group of kindred spirits - rubbing makers, scholars and museum staff - searched for stones and inscriptions among the forested hills.

La projection sera suivie d’une discussion avec la réalisatrice, LU Yi 陸易 (Musée provincial du Zhejiang) et Lia WEI, enseignante-chercheuse en histoire des arts de la Chine à l’Inalco.
