Chansigne is an emblematic art of deaf cultures, transposing music into Sign Language. The International Visual Theatre offers a unique immersion in this creative universe through a cycle of workshops combining musical exploration and LSF interpretation techniques.

Pedagogical objectives

  • Exploring techniques specific to chansigne
  • Immersing oneself in a text to propose an interpretation in LSF
  • Feeling the musical rhythm and transposing it into the body
  • Finding one's own chansigne style

Content

  • Approach to rhythm and music through the body
  • Expressive techniques in LSF adapted to the musical universe
  • Individual and collective work from a song text
  • Exercises in staging and interpretation

At the end of these sessions, you'll be able to sing a song!
