Studying Urdu in Paris
The PLIDAM team is organizing the Colloque international des études d'ourdou in Paris on September 24 and 25, 2025.
This groundbreaking international symposium celebrates 195 years of teaching Urdu at our school, bringing together specialists from Europe, Asia and North America. Participants will explore contemporary pedagogical challenges and methodological innovations for teaching Urdu to an international audience, while deepening reflection on linguistic, historical, literary and socio-political dimensions.
