Museums Mission
Since 2020, Inalco has created a mission responsible for partnerships between the establishment and museums.
Objectives
The main objectives of the Mission Musées are to:
- record existing partnerships in their great areal and disciplinary diversity,
- consolidate and perpetuate these collaborations through the valorization of projects carried out by various actors of the establishment and the signature of framework agreements,
- initiate new relationships with museum institutions whose collections and research fields are likely to be of interest to Inalco.
Priorities include access to museum collections, building relationships of trust with the various players working within partner museums - curators, those responsible for audiences, mediation and teaching - and supporting Inalco's training or research needs in relation to museums.
