Dragons visit Inalco
Imperial dragons, popular dragons, symbolic dragons, political dragons ...the fine exhibition at the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac presents until March 1, 2026, in association with the National Palace Museum of Taipei in Taiwan, the many facets of the dragon in East Asia.
We'll be delighted to welcome to the auditorium the exhibition's scientific managers, Julien Rousseau, head of the Asia heritage unit at the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, and Adrien Bossard, director of the musée départemental des arts asiatiques in Nice.
They will be welcomed by Lia Wei, lecturer in Chinese art history and head of Inalco's Missions musées, and Vincent Durand-Dastès, professor of premodern Chinese literature, for a discussion across waters and clouds around the fabulous animal.
