Teaching

The candidate should have the skills and experience of teaching a Berber variety from beginner level (L1) to advanced level (L3 and Master 1).

He/she should also have the skills and experience of teaching Berber history or cultural anthropology, depending on the candidate's profile, from a large Berber-speaking region but with openness to others. From a disciplinary point of view, his or her teaching of civilization should be based on a solid background in history or socio-cultural anthropology, depending on the candidate's profile. The candidate must also be able to base his/her teaching of civilization on oral and written sources in the Berber language.

He/she must participate in the supervision of Master's students in Berber civilization.

The candidate will be likely to teach :
The candidate will teach a Berber variety (Kabyle or other depending on the candidate's profile) in the second year of the bachelor's degree in both semesters (S3 and S4, 4h), in the third year of the bachelor's degree in the second semester (S6, 2h) and in the master's degree (M1/M2, S1, 2h)
He/she will be in charge of the Berber societies course (anthropology or history) depending on the candidate's profile in the second year of the bachelor's degree (S4, 2h), the third year of the bachelor's degree (S5, 2h) and the master's degree (M1/M2, S1, 2h).
The face-to-face hours total 182h, which in EQTD (6h Berber societies) makes: 200 h.

The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of teaching tools, possibly digital. Competence in ICTE is desirable.

He/she will be able, depending on his/her specialist discipline, to carry out part of his/her service in cross-disciplinary teaching in the department (literature, linguistics, humanities) or in cross-disciplinary teaching at the bachelor's and master's levels of INALCO.

He/she is likely to teach in English.

The candidate will be expected to invest in the life and operation of the department, in reflection on the evolution of training courses, and in student supervision.

The candidate should have a profile enabling him/her to intervene in Research and Research Training, with a view to consolidation in Berber literature and civilization, and integrate into the major programs developed by the LACNAD (Dictionnaire biographique de la Kabylie, Encyclopédie berbère, Verba Africana littérature orale en audiovisuel...)
