Presentation

This book is aimed at French speakers, and aims to make it easier for them to learn the Turkish language by helping them to understand the logic behind the conjugation of its verbs.

You have to imagine the Turkish verb as a nucleus surrounded by elements that complete and add to it: suffixes, for tense, person, negation, mode, etc.

After defining the different tenses, simple and compound (which are not exactly the same as in French), and providing the basic patterns, this book gives the essential tense and person suffixes and provides you with conjugation tables for the simple tenses as well as an index of Turkish verbs, which associates each verb with its group, taking into account the consonants that end the verb stem and the vowel of the final syllable, which condition the functioning of vowel harmony.

This book is therefore a practical guide to Turkish verbs, including descriptions of tenses and modes, conjugation rules and summary tables. It's a reference book.
