Accounting agency
The accounting officer is a public accountant. He/she has the independence required to carry out his/her duties as a public accountant. He or she is responsible for taking charge of and collecting revenues, paying expenses, and guarding and conserving the establishment's funds and assets. He also keeps the general accounts, producing an annual financial statement.
