Confluences Tibétaines
Presentation of the association
The Confluences Tibétaines association བོད་ཀྱི་འདུས་ཆུ། was created on April 15, 2010. It is managed, coordinated and run by students at Inalco.
At Inalco it organizes an annual cultural day presenting various aspects of the culture of the Tibetan-speaking area, a free event open to all.
From year to year, it organizes Tibetan calligraphy workshops, screenings of rare and unpublished films and other activities (Tibetan yoga, meditation,...).
The vast majority of what we offer is free.
In partnership with the Khata Karpo association, CT is helping to set up several language courses at Inalco (FLE for Tibetans), an administrative office for Tibetan speakers and a Tibetan singing course open to all.
It regularly informs members and subscribers by e-mail of events connected with Tibetan culture in Paris and the surrounding area. It occasionally offers its members the chance to win cinema, theater and concert tickets related to the Tibetan-Himalayan world, as well as exclusive outings.
It also aims to be a reliable relay for people seeking specific information concerning the Tibetan field, particularly associations active in the social field.
She also collaborates on Inalco's cultural and educational events, such as the Inalculturelle and the "Languages and cultures of the world" cordée organized by Inalco as part of the Cordées de la réussite program.
