40 years of "Études chinoises" magazine
To mark the 40th anniversary of the journal "Études chinoises", the Association française d'études chinoises (AFEC) is pleased to invite you to a round-table discussion tracing its history, to be held on December 12, 2025 at 5:45 pm at Inalco, Amphi 2, 65 rue des Grands Moulins, 75013 Paris.
This event will bring together several former editors of the journal: Hubert Delahaye, Vincent Durand-Dastès, Danielle Elisseeff, Frédéric Obringer, Delphine Spicq. The origins of the journal, its development, the evolution of its operations, as well as its perception and its structuring role in the world of French-speaking Chinese studies will be discussed.
The event will be held in the presence of several of the journal's former editors.
