Fabric and notebook engraving workshop
This practical art workshop introduces you to the technique of engraving on polystyrene.
Participants will be invited to make a creation that will be declined on a pouch, a notebook and a card. The workshop will be led by Lucie Trachet, graphic designer and teacher at the Artline Institute. All necessary materials will be available on site, beginners and budding artists welcome.
Workshop schedule
- Artist presentation, technique, graphic references
- Research for the visual (images, sketches)
- Final drawing
- Reproduction of the drawing on the plate + engraving
- Choice of colors, Printing tests
- Printing on three media
Lucie Trachet, graphic designer in Paris, manipulates paper through cutting, collage and volume. She has been designing and running workshops for the past 10 years, and creating paper scenographies for various businesses. Alongside her workshops, Lucie teaches graphic design and leads the design of visual identities, exhibition graphics and signage, particularly for cultural institutions in France and internationally.
