Guided tour of the "Isao Takahata" exhibition
The Service de l'événementiel et de l'action culturel offers a guided tour of the "Isao Takahata" exhibition at the Maison de la Culture du Japon in Paris.

Isao Takahata (1935-2018) is undeniably one of the greatest masters of animation. Co-founder of Studio Ghibli in 1985 with Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki, he shaped a demanding, poetic and profoundly innovative body of work from the 1960s onwards.
The exhibition retraces the career of the creator of Heidi, Tomb of the Fireflies and The Tale of Princess Kaguya, using his notebooks, storyboards, original drawings, celluloid, film extracts and videos...
Enjoy this guided tour by Ilan Nguyen, a specialist in Japanese animation cinema and consultant to the exhibition.
