To close its lecture series "Mapping Networks of Modern Chinese Buddhism: Emerging Patterns and Centralities" 圖繪近現代漢傳佛教網絡:多模式與多中心的興起, CEIB will hold a concluding symposium on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, 2025. The annual "Yin-Cheng Distinguished Lecture" will be given by two distinguished scholars, David L. Wank and Yoshiko Ashiwa, and entitled "Chinese Buddhism in Globalization: Networks, Spaces, Challenges" [全球化中的中國佛教:網路、 空間、 挑戰].
The symposium will continue with talks by seven other researchers, whose ongoing research will make us fully aware of the extent of Chinese Buddhist networks.
