Presentation of the research project "The linguistic ecology of Al-'Ulā (LEAlUla)".

The event will present the project The linguistic ecology of Al-'Ulā: urbanisation and language change in north-western KSA, devoted to the linguistic and social dynamics of the Al-'Ulā oasis (north-western Saudi Arabia), in the context of ongoing urbanization and cultural development. It will be followed by a screening of the documentary LEAlUla: The linguistic ecology of an evolving oasis, in the presence of its director Céline Férlita (CNRS, ARDIS).
