Thinking in resistance in today's China
Fourth session in the "Les Rencontres de l'Ifrae" series.
When the Chinese regime has hardened, exerting tight ideological control over universities and shrinking the space for debate and objective analysis every day, how can intellectuals continue to think critically, conduct their research, make their voices heard? In what forms, and at what cost?
At the same time as revisiting the differences between dissidents, researchers and critical intellectuals, this conference-debate will look at the political limits of the knowledge being developed in China today, while reporting on the reflections of those who are trying to push back those limits.
