The 25-hour intensive distance courses are designed for people wishing to take an intensive introduction to an Oriental language (mainly oral).

Inalco is the only higher education institution in France and the world to offer training in such a wide variety of languages and dialects.
This is a 25-hour course over 5 weeks, at a rate of 2h30 lessons per day, 2 days a week, for each dialect, organized for small groups (9 to 15 trainees). The courses take place on a full-remote basis. Learning takes place synchronously (fixed times) via the Zoom platform. Trainers upload videos, recordings and additional documents to a dedicated Moodle platform. A forum is also available to allow exchanges between trainees and trainers.
A minimum number of 10 trainees is required to open a group.

Objectives
The objectives of this course are to learn to speak and make oneself understood. The method is based on listening and speaking. The internship is organized around the following tasks:
- introducing oneself,
- moving around,
- housing,
- food,
- making a purchase.
It aims to install oral communication while respecting cultural norms. The internship requires a high level of involvement and regular personal work time between classes.

25 HOURS OF TRAINING - IDENTICAL CRYSTALS FOR ALL DIALECTES AND LANGUAGES.
All classes take place on Fridays from 6pm to 8:30pm and Saturdays from 9:30am to 12pm.
The next training session will take place in from June 4th to July 3rd 2027 (final schedule to be confirmed on June 15th 2025), with registrations starting on April 2nd until May 9th 2026.
