Africa in globalization: what opportunities for Inalco students?

Despite a difficult period linked in particular to the commodities crisis, foreign investors are still very interested in Africa, particularly south of the Sahara. Can exchanges with Africa, like those with other destinations, generate opportunities for Inalco students?

The guest speakers will attempt to provide some answers by addressing the economic context and foreign investment (Salim Orou-Yerima, senior manager, EY (ex Ernst & Young), the position of French companies and foreign competition (Philippe Gautier, DG, MEDEF International), the role of the African diaspora in exchanges with the continent (Dr Elie Nkamgueu, Club Efficience) and the importance of knowledge of languages and cultures (Inalco's Africa Department).
