Duygu Tasalp, winner of the 2018 Best Thesis Award

CREE is delighted to announce that Duygu Tasalp has been awarded the 2018 Best Thesis Prize for his thesis entitled: "Mémoires d'Unionistes et régimes mémoriels en Turquie au 20ème siècle", co-directed by Taline Ter Minassian and Hamit Bozarslan, defended as part of Inalco's doctoral school, discipline: Histoire, sociétés et civilisations, de l'Inalco.

Duygu Tasalp holds a PhD in history. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at Casa de Velázquez in Madrid and a post-doctoral researcher at Université Paris Nanterre, where her research focused on scientific and artistic exiles, so-called "qualified" migrations, with the production of narrative cartographies representing the life paths of exiles and the valorization of research through publications.
Currently, she is a post-doctoral research fellow at the F.R.S. - FNRS at Université Catholique de Louvain.
