Inalco supports France Universités' appeal to welcome Palestinian students

Friday, August 29, 2025, France Universités issued a statement at the close of its back-to-school general assembly:

France Universités calls on the public authorities to lift the suspension of the reception of Palestinian students enrolled in French higher education institutions as soon as possible, in order to guarantee the continuity of studies.

Beyond the humanitarian emergency, France Universités recalls that the University's mission is to offer everyone the means to emancipate themselves through knowledge. Faithful to their vocation of welcoming and transmitting knowledge, French universities intend to remain spaces of openness and international solidarity.
