Inalco's Continuing Education Department awarded FCU quality certification

Developing a quality offering tailored to the needs of individuals and companies

Initial and continuing lifelong training are among the missions of the public higher education service.

Inalco relies on its Service Commun de Formation Continue(SCFC) to implement specific strategies designed to develop a professional training activity tailored to the needs of socio-economic partners and individuals. It is within this framework that Inalco's SCFC has embarked on a quality initiative, culminating in an audit to be carried out in November 2021.

This audit, carried out by an independent third party, Bureau Veritas Certification, ensured that Inalco met the following commitments:

• engage its continuing education department in the quality approach;
• ensure the quality of services delivered;
• increase the credibility and value of its practices among stakeholders: future trainee candidates, staff, funders, companies, administrations, professional branches.... ;
• guarantee the adaptation and skills enhancement of its employees ;
• ensure the continuous improvement of its services.

The FCU service certification obtained following this audit testifies to the quality of the continuing education services delivered by Inalco and its commitment to a continuous improvement approach.

The Formation Continue à l'Université (FCU) network of continuing education establishments and experts has created the "FCU Services Certification" issued by Bureau Veritas Certification, following an audit of compliance with the commitments of the reference framework. This certification is recognized by the Conseil National pour l'Emploi et la Formation Professionnelle (CNEFOP).

The expertise of Continuing Education

Continuing Education offers advice and expertise and training through financing studied and adapted to the specific needs of individuals, companies and public organizations. These activities cover all of Inalco's areas of expertise:

• advice and support to companies and public bodies in the economic, commercial, cultural, etc., fields, by drawing on its network of specialists (teacher-researchers and consultants)
• tailored training courses for companies
• language training facilities (learning and perfecting) in face-to-face and distance learning
• university diplomas (DU)
• resumption of studies and validation of prior learning (VAE) and professional experience (VAP)
• certifications and language test preparation
