Following a survey of its academic staff and other staff, Inalco is launching its ‘Digital Teaching’ workshops. Whether they are training sessions or opportunities for discussion, discover this year’s programme below!
Details of each workshop will be announced no later than one month before it takes place. Registration will open two weeks before the workshop date. Programme of workshops for 2026:

Workshop 1: ‘Language MOOCs’, Friday 10 April 2026, 10.00–12.00. Two lecturers and researchers from INALCO will discuss their experience of creating language MOOCs:

Workshop 2 “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching”, 12 May, from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. The speaker is Amandine ADWAN, senior lecturer in Literary Arabic.
Please note that the workshop can be attended either in person or remotely (via videoconference). The number of in-person places is limited. Once this quota is reached, some participants registered for the in-person session may be asked to attend remotely.
Workshop 3 ‘Creating digital teaching materials, Part 1: getting to grips with MOODLE’, on Thursday 18 June from 10.00 am to 11.30 am.
Facilitator: Dalal Kleiche
Level: beginner
Prerequisites: none required
Skills to be acquired:
By the end of this training session, you will be able to use Moodle’s essential features;
- create and organise an online course effectively;
- select and upload digital resources (web standards, copyright, GDPR);
- add activities (communicate, assess, collaborate).
During the training, you will work directly with the interface to become more independent.

Workshop 4 “Creating a MOOC on French civilisation, an online course on French civilisation” – Monday 21 September, from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.
