As part of the EUniWell European University Alliance, Inalco and the University of Paris 8 (ERUA Alliance) organized an inter-Alliance Symposium on "Living Language Policies - Lived Multilingualism". An excellent opportunity for Inalco and its partners to explore ways of implementing multilingualism at university!

Promoting multilingualism means promoting the individual and societal well-being, peace and social cohesion needed to build tomorrow's world.

Il-Il Yatziv-Malibert, Deputy Vice-President for Europe at Inalco, at the inter-alliance symposium "Living Language Policies - Lived Multilingualism".

Members of the university alliances EUniWell and ERUA met in Paris on October 10 and 11 to work together on the implementation of language policies in European universities.

This meeting was also an opportunity to present the EUniWell "Culture, multilingualism and well-being" declaration, as well as ERUA's language policy. The aim of this work is to promote linguistic and cultural diversity in higher education and research, and in society as a whole.

We'd like to thank the participants from Inalco who joined us for this occasion!
