Young Korean Studies Researchers' Day

Objectives of the day:
This meeting aims to create a space for exchange, reflection and dialogue between young researchers working on the "Korea(s)" object, across all disciplines. Rather than focusing on research results per se, this day aims to address together the methodological, structural and practical issues encountered during doctoral and post-doctoral research.
Thematic axes:
Expected papers should address concrete difficulties encountered during research, related to the research topic. As an indication, papers may fall into one of the following thematic areas:
- Access to sources: libraries, archives, private collections, digital documents...
- Fieldwork: access constraints, online research, field surveys, network and contacts.
- Research methods applied to the "Korea(s)" object: interdisciplinarity in practice, romanization of names, comparative approach...
- Publications: where to publish, how to submit an article, valorizing one's research, knowing the relevant journals...
Each intervention (15 minutes) will be integrated into a thematic panel, followed by a time for collective discussion.
Submission procedures:
Interested parties are invited to submit a paper proposal including:
- an abstract (200 words maximum),
- a brief presentation of the thesis or research topic
We very much hope that this initiative will arouse your interest, and would be delighted to be able to count on your participation!
