CERMOM doctoral students' workshop

L'atelier des Doctorantes et Doctorants du CERMOM : un espace d'échange et d'entraide
Starting from the observation that CERMOM doctoral students lacked a space dedicated to exchanges around their research and thesis-related challenges, L'atelier des Doctorantes et Doctorants sees the light of day in the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Organized on the basis of one session per month, this space for exchange and reflection offers PhD students the opportunity to share their work at different stages of their research: thesis project development, field returns, source analysis, theoretical and methodological choices, or the writing process. Conceived as a place for mutual support and collective reflection, it fosters benevolent exchanges and collaboration between doctoral students in order to support them throughout their doctoral journey.
A multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and collaborative anchoring
The workshop is part of the cultural area covered by CERMOM. Adopting an approach that is both pluridisciplinary and interdisciplinary, it encourages the confrontation of methodological and theoretical perspectives. This dynamic makes it possible to address both the major scientific issues and the concrete challenges of research work. The discussions provide a constructive framework in which doctoral students can compare their analyses, share their field experiences and benefit from enriching critical feedback.
The workshop is organized by a committee of doctoral students, in collaboration with a pair of CERMOM researchers, Amélie Neuve-Église and Nicolas Elias, who contribute their expertise and accompany the exchanges.
