This regular event is designed to enable specialists in the field to share their unpublished, recent or ongoing work, and to foster potential collaborations.

The ‘Digital Armenian’ thematic session

A poster session (1 hour), combined with two round-table discussions (2 × 1 hour), will highlight recent advances in the automatic processing of Armenian, in computer vision applied to cultural heritage, and in the digitisation, structuring and dissemination of linguistic and cultural data. This session will welcome contributions relating to ongoing projects, interim or final results in the field of digital humanities for the Armenian language: the creation of databases, the development of online corpora, annotation tools, methods for the extraction, analysis and promotion of heritage documents, etc. Representative applications include the automatic recognition of Armenian manuscripts, the computer-assisted transcription and lemmatisation of ancient or dialectal texts, the indexing and segmentation of audiovisual archives, 3D reconstruction of monuments, the detection of epigraphic and ornamental motifs, and the creation of collaborative platforms for lexical and dialectological exploration.
