This second session of the DÉCRIPT seminar of the Europe-Eurasia axis features a round-table discussion with Alexandra Goujon (Senior Lecturer at the University of Burgundy) and Anna Colin Lebedev (Senior Lecturer at the University of Paris Nanterre) on their work on the war in Ukraine.

By inviting these two teacher-researchers to revisit their main works, the session aims to better understand how national narratives and civilizational narratives are distinguished and articulated, and what scales of analysis and chronologies are available to their studies.

The session will also focus on the conduct of fieldwork in the context of the war in Ukraine, and how the war has altered research practices and increased media demands on the world of research.
