The position is open to publicist candidates who are open to political, European and international issues, and whose work and interests converge with one of the three specializations offered to Master's students: diplomacy, strategic affairs, humanitarian action and development.

Proficiency in one of the languages taught at Inalco, and an interest in extra-Western political and legal spaces, are expected. A good knowledge of humanitarian action, development and/or strategic affairs will be considered an asset, as the recruited lecturer will be expected to contribute to the visibility of the program and the development of its networks in these professional circles.

The teaching service, divided into CM, seminars and TD, will cover various areas of public law:

  • Preparation for MEAE and Ministry of the Armed Forces competitive examinations (master's degree)

  • Introduction to public international law (bachelor's degree)

  • Introduction to comparative public law (bachelor's degree)

  • European integration (bachelor's degree)

A strong commitment and coordination with the International Relations department teaching team will be required, particularly in preparing Master 2 students for the competitive entrance exams for the Ministries of Foreign Affairs (Secretary and Counsellor, cadre d'Orient) and the Armed Forces.

As part of his/her duties, the lecturer will also supervise internships or dissertations related to his/her skills. He/she will contribute to the development of new pedagogical tools and coordinate dedicated courses. A good command of ICTE and online pedagogical tools (Moodle) is therefore expected.
