Inalco MOOC: registration opens

With more than 112,000 registrations in 120 countries, Inalco's first three MOOCs - free online courses - were a huge success. As a world pioneer in the creation of courses in modern oriental languages, especially at beginner level, the Institute is relaunching its "contact kits" in Arabic, Chinese and Czech. Registration is now open for the fifth session, starting in March 2022.

Accessible worldwide via the France Université Numérique (FUN) platform, our contact kits offer beginners a few cultural points of reference as well as an oral and written initiation centered around several tasks allowing a first contact in the language: introducing oneself, getting around, finding accommodation, eating, making a purchase...



Since 2018, a 4 ECTS certificate has been awarded to students who have successfully passed a written exam validating their knowledge of the entire program. This certificate is valid for all international courses, including LANSAD (language courses for specialists in other disciplines).



Two new contact kits will be launched in the first half of 2022, introducing students to Hebrew and Malagasy. These MOOCs will soon be available on the FUN platform.
