Gilles Dorronsoro is Professor of Political Science at Université Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne and a member of the Centre européen de sociologie et de science politique (CESSP, UMR 8209). His research focuses on civil wars around the world, with particular emphasis on Afghanistan, Turkey and Syria.
