International colloquium on Hindi grammar and lexicon, November 3-5

The PLIDAM team and Labex EFL are organizing a two-day colloquium and study day devoted to Hindi grammar and lexicon. The colloquium will examine key issues in Hindi grammar and lexicon from a pedagogical perspective. From a historical perspective, the study day follows on from the days organized as part of LabEx EFL's "Grammaires étendues" operation.

International symposium "Family language policy: the place of orality", November 29 and 30

This symposium proposes a critical examination of orality in the field of family language policy in the light of reflections and debates not only from a sociolinguistic perspective but also from a holistic interdisciplinary approach, in order to better understand its various contributions to the process of linguistic transmission of heritage languages or their loss within households in a migratory context.

XXV Iranian World Day

Open both to the general public and to academics and students, Iranian World Day is organized every year on the occasion of the Iranian New Year, Nowruz, by CeRMI - Centre de Recherche sur le Monde Iranien, UMR 8041 (CNRS, Sorbonne Nouvelle, INALCO, EPHE). This event is designed to bring together specialists and students in our disciplines, as well as a wider public interested in areal research issues. The day is devoted to presentations by CeRMI members and their guests on current research on the Iranian world.
