The winners of the 8th edition of the Prix Émile Guimet de littérature asiatique were unveiled on Wednesday June 4 at a ceremony held at the Musée Guimet. Celebrating the wealth of Asian literature translated into French, this year's Prix Émile Guimet honored works exploring political violence, intimate dramas and extraordinary artistic trajectories. New for 2025, the Inalco student prize for manga was awarded to the first volume of the manga "Tokyo These Days" by Taiyô Matsumoto (éditions Kana) by a jury of five students from the Japanese studies department.
