Hosted by researchers from CREE (Inalco), CHCSC (Université Paris-Saclay), ICT (Université de Paris), LARCA (Université de Paris-CNRS), in collaboration with librarians from BULAC, BnF and La Contemporaine, the 8th meeting of the Transfopress network, entitled "Paris, a polyphonic metropolis: for a history of the Parisian foreign-language press (XIXth-XXIst centuries)", sheds light on a little-known aspect of the Parisian allophone press. In conjunction with the symposium, BULAC presents the exhibition "Ces journaux des diasporas qui ont fait la presse parisienne", an overview of the linguistic diversity of the Parisian press and publishing industry in the 20th century.
