This workshop, which began work in 2018, is open to all doctoral students, master's students and researchers in the humanities and social sciences, whatever their field of study. Contemporary Ukraine presents themes encountered in other geographical contexts, post-Soviet or otherwise (democratic transition, emigration, "hybrid war", identity reconfigurations...). Young researchers less familiar with the geographical area in question may find sources of inspiration and points of comparison with their own fields of study.

To mark the millennium of the death of Muḥammad b. Ḥusayn Abū 'Abd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī (-1021), a key figure in the history of Sufism, the CERMOM research team (Inalco) is organizing an international colloquium. Its aim is to take stock of the academic research carried out on Sulamī, his work, his posterity or his influence on later Sufism.
