Inalco's Maison de la Recherche awarded the "Heritage of Regional Interest" label

On July 1, 2020, the Maison de la Recherche, Inalco's historic site and 18th-century building, was awarded the "Heritage of Regional Interest" label by the Île-de-France region. This former mansion houses a wealth of heritage treasures. On this occasion, a plaque certifying this label was recently affixed to the front of the site.

This workshop, which began work in 2018, is open to all doctoral students, master's students and researchers in the humanities and social sciences, whatever their field of study. Contemporary Ukraine presents themes encountered in other geographical contexts, post-Soviet or otherwise (democratic transition, emigration, "hybrid war", identity reconfigurations...). Young researchers less familiar with the geographical area in question may find sources of inspiration and points of comparison with their own fields of study.

The Intangible Cultural Heritage Days 2024 (ICHD) celebrate living cultural practices handed down from generation to generation and classified by UNESCO, in connection with Inalco's cultural areas. Through a program of conferences, round-table discussions, documentary screenings and performances, these days aim to introduce the public to the diversity of these cultural practices, the field of study at Inalco. Every year, Inalco organizes the JPCI around a theme, and this second edition focuses on culinary and food practices.
